"Assissted" software

An accessibility demo for Pearson

I work very closely with the accessibility lead at Pearson. In fact, accessibility has been a key component to a lot of the web work I have done in the past and continue to do for Pearson. During a presentation on accessibility issues, an idea struck me. Our expert played an audio of a screen reader reading out a poem to illustrate how "assisted" software actually worked. The audience were taken back by the clip. I decided to develop a quick demo illustrating what it is like for learners who use assisted software.
