European Union research project

ASSIST-ME is a high level research project with a societal impact that will investigate formative and summative assessment methods to support and to improve inquiry-based approaches in European science, technology and mathematics (STM) education.

As the onscreen partner in this project we have designed and developed onscreen assessment platforms and materials for the three assessment approaches deemed suitable for competences-based assessment: investigation and problem solving; application of knowledge and simulation/modelling, namely materials at upper primary and lower secondary levels, and targeting Science, Maths and Design & Technology.

Designs include a "portal" aimed at secondary students, a "portal" aimed exclusively at primary and a teacher admin panel to manage both.

ASSIST-ME stands for Assess Inquiry in Science, Technology and Mathematics Education.
